Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy in Tennessee is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our growing network. You will conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility and function.

You will work autonomously within a supportive clinical team, supervise support staff, and contribute to ongoing education and community outreach. Licensure in TN is required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program.
Current TN Physical Therapist (PT) license.
CPR certification is required.
Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations assessing ROM, strength, posture, gait, balance, and daily living activities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports per facility procedures.
Interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
Supervise PTAs, Exercise Physiologists, Technicians, and students in patient care.
Ensure supervision of personnel during treatments as outlined in evaluations.
Contribute to program development and participate in educational activities for growth.
Assist in outreach community events as directed by Clinic Director.
Adhere to state practice act and APTA code of ethics.
