Responsibilities include assessing patients, reviewing referrals, delivering care per established protocols, documenting progress, and collaborating with physicians and insurers. CT license and CPR certification required; new grads welcome; strong manual therapy skills encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculum.
• Current CT license and CPR certification.
• Outgoing and energetic personality; ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic.
• Eagerness to grow professionally within an organization.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Review referrals and medical records to determine needed physical therapy.
• Provide direct patient care per established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Oversee patient care delegated to assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Develop a written plan of care and goals; implement treatment program.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes and discharge summaries.
