Job summary

Life Care Center of Reno is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide direct rehab care to patients under physician referral, in compliance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

Applicants must graduate from an accredited PT program and hold a current state license, with CPR certification. New grads are welcome; 1 year of experience preferred. The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and adherence to safety and post-acute care guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the applicable US state and maintain an active license.
• New graduates are welcome to apply; CPR certification at hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients
• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable, timely, and functional goals
• Oversee and evaluate care given by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and PT and PTA students
• Chart appropriately and timely
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates and vendors
• Understand and follow Life Care policies and codes of conduct
