ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center, is a 142-bed full-service hospital located in Washington. It has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center and features a 16-bed emergency department serving approximately 25,000 patients annually. The hospital also includes the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, offering chemotherapy and radiation therapy, along with general medical and surgical services, operative services, a women’s birthing center, rehabilitation services, and outpatient clinics.
Provides patient care through evaluation/re-evaluation, treatment, communication, and appropriate documentation. Participates in departmental, team, and organizational quality improvement activities. Delegates appropriate tasks to assistants and technicians, supervises staff, and is responsible for education of self, peers, patients, students, and community members. Assists with or performs special projects and research.
