Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Physical Therapist to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Marianjoy, with a 1.0 FTE schedule. Core hours are 8:30 to 5, Monday through Friday, plus three weekend days per quarter and two holidays annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois is required.
• BLS from American Heart Association upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Selects and administers physical therapy evaluations.
• Inpatient rehabilitation.
• Develops and implements collaborative treatment plans.
• Provides patient, family and caregiver education.
• Discharges planning communication with the team.
• Maintains patient care documentation per standards.
• Supervises paraprofessionals and support staff.
• Administers evaluations and treatment plans to restore function.
