Job summary

Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join the inpatient rehabilitation team at a Level 1 Trauma and certified Stroke Center.

This full-time position (70 hours over two weeks) requires graduation from an accredited PT program, California PT licensure (or pending), and a current BLS certificate, with experience in acute care preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Licensed as a PT in the State of California or Pending CA PT License.
• Current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations, assessments, prognosis, treatment, and education as prescribed by a qualified medical practitioner.
• Collaborate with inpatient rehabilitation team to treat diverse cases while delivering compassionate care.
• Support patient-centered care and education to aid recovery at Scripps Mercy San Diego.

Education

This is a full-time .875 (70 hours/2 weeks) varied 10 hour day shift position at Scripps Mercy in Hillcrest. You will be working Friday, Saturday and Monday week 1 and Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday week 2.

• At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting
