Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Illinois is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist to support patient care on a weekend‑heavy schedule. The role offers differential pay for evenings, nights, and weekends, with overtime opportunities and on‑call pay.

Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program, ongoing CEU participation, CPR certification, and a current Illinois license or in‑process licensure.

Job description

Work Schedule:

Per Diem, 6:00am-6:00pm weekends preferred, you will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (or foreign equivalent as determined by the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation). Required
• Participates in educational programs on an ongoing basis and complete mandatory CEUs as required. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Current license from the State of Illinois or in the process of acquiring licensure per department policy. Required
