Job summary

HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese, IL seeks a Licensed Physical Therapist to join our Rehab team, providing inpatient and outpatient services. The role includes education for patients and staff, development of therapy programs, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Weekend inpatient coverage is required on a rotating basis. The position offers flexible scheduling (PRN) with 8-hour shifts between 6:30am–7:30pm; compensation aligns with experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PT program meeting licensure requirements.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice is required.
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment is required.
• Illinois licensure within 1 year after meeting all other requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient rehab therapies; participate in care planning.
• Educate patients, families, students, colleagues, and self-professional development.
• Develop and support therapy programs and interdisciplinary team initiatives.
• Occasional weekend inpatient coverage as part of a rotating team.
