Job summary

West Oaks Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program. You will conduct screenings, assess functional needs, and develop care plans to support geriatric patients on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• New grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screening and evaluating patients with physical disorders and wound care needs.
• Deliver rehabilitative and medically necessary treatments per standards.
• Administer procedures as part of rehab plan (manual therapy, ambulation, exercises, modalities).
• Provide counseling to patients and families about physical disorders.
• Prepare discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical requirements.
