Job summary

Mercy seeks a Physical Therapist to conduct objective assessments and design individualized treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients directly and rehab technicians indirectly, along with PT assistants in compliance with State Practice Acts.

Educational requirements include a DPT/MS in PT or equivalent, plus active licensure and BLS certification. Experience with adult/geriatric care is preferred; Mercy offers strong benefits and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants per State Practice Acts.
• Contribute to Mercy's mission and service standards while following departmental policies.
