Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and create comprehensive treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients and allied staff, ensuring care aligns with Mercy standards and policies.

A state license and BLS certification are required or current. Preferred candidates have 6 months to 1 year of rehab experience, particularly with adult/geriatric populations, and hold a PT degree (Bachelors, MS, or DPT).

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license to practice Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification required; must be current before patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Supervise patients directly and rehabilitation technicians indirectly; general supervision of PT assistants.
• Comply with Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
