Job summary

The Physical Therapist II at Froedtert Health provides comprehensive physical therapy services, assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care. The role includes advanced evaluation, program development, staff education, and student supervision.

Leadership skills and mentoring responsibilities are expected as part of the position. Requires a WI Physical Therapist license, a PT degree, and two years of clinical experience; BLS is required within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of clinical Therapist experience meeting requirements of Level I responsibilities.
• Bachelor, Masters, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required.
• WI state license as a Physical Therapist is required; BLS within 3 months of hire.
• Must be proficient at all PT level 1 competencies and maintain productivity.
• May require clinical expertise in specific discipline.
• AHA BLS or equivalent within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care and treatment programs.
• Participate in Rehabilitation Services department activities to enhance patient care and programs.
• Demonstrate advanced evaluation and treatment skills and participate in program development, staff education, and student supervision.
• Show emerging leadership skills and mentor department staff.
• Duties as assigned.

Job Summary: The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services to the patient by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care and treatment programs. The therapist participates in varied Rehabilitation Services department activities designed to enhance patient care and programs. A Physical Therapist II demonstrates advanced evaluation and treatment skills and is involved in program development, staff education, student supervision. Also demonstrates emerging leadership skills and mentors department staff. Other duties as assigned. (U)
