University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) is seeking a Physical Therapist II to deliver quality care to patients requiring physical therapy. The role involves evaluating patients, planning and implementing treatment programs, and documenting all treatments accurately.
The ideal candidate will have two years of PT experience, a current Texas license, and CPR certification. Working in conjunction with a health care team, the PT educates patients and families while addressing varying age-related needs.
The Physical Therapist II functions independently and consistently in the delivery of quality care to patients requiring physical therapy in accordance with individual patient needs, physician orders, department policies and procedures, and standards of practice. The role evaluates patients, plans and implements treatment programs, and documents all treatments accurately. The PT works in conjunction with other members of the health care team to ensure patient needs are met, educates patients and families, and provides care to patients of varying ages with age‑related needs.
