Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center, located in Morristown, NJ, is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for our inpatient Rehab Unit. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and ongoing professional growth. Required: degree in Physical Therapy and NJ licensure (or eligibility).

3–5 years in an acute inpatient hospital setting preferred. The department values development, quality improvement, and compassionate care for a diverse patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college/university with a degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed to practice in New Jersey (or eligible for licensure).
• 3–5 years of experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial examinations and differential diagnosis.
• Develops and prescribes plans of care including therapeutic exercise.
• Performs manual treatments (soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, etc.).
• Supervises and interacts with support staff and maintains documentation.
• Evaluates and adjusts plan of care based on patient progress.
• Documents patient care and billing, progress notes, and treatment course.
• Collaborates with other professionals to deliver interdisciplinary care.
• Provides clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Monitors patient response and provides feedback to the team.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
