Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a Casual Physical Therapist I to join our community clinics team. This role will work across three clinic locations in Brooklyn Park, Whittier, and Richfield, with a flexible schedule and the potential for full-time hours if desired.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of physical therapy.
• Up to 2 full-time years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
• Develops and documents patient care plans to promote function and safety.
• Observes, evaluates, and documents patient progress.
• Participates in hospital rounds and patient care conferences.
• Educates patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and treatments.
• Completes all documentation and charges per departmental standards.
• Directs and supervises Rehab aides and PT assistants as assigned.
• Operates rehabilitative equipment and applies procedures correctly.
• Assists with in-services and mentoring for staff.
