Job summary

Park Nicollet is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team on a casual, on-site basis. The role focuses on direct patient care across adolescent to geriatric populations using a range of PT techniques to restore function and reduce pain.

The position requires licensure with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy; education can be Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's in physical therapy. Benefits include medical and dental insurance, retirement, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

Position Summary

Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

casual position. Variable, 6:45 am - 7:30 pm Monday-Friday, Weekend rotation

Minimum Hour Requirements:
12 hours per month minimum — or 144 hours per year

Required Qualifications

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy

Preferred Qualifications

• Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting.
  • Recommend membership in related professional organization.
  • Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
  • Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise.
  • Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.
