BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem opportunity performing home health visits. This office services adult and geriatric clients on a per-visit basis in territories throughout Carroll County, Maryland.
One year of prior clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is required.
Must be available to see patients on a full-time, part-time, or per diem basis between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday!

Responsibilities for a PT - Physical Therapist include:
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, ambulation patterns and appearance, muscle strength and endurance, balance testing, and safety assessments.
- Implement integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair using evidence-based dressings and topical agents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
- Continuously assess and revise the care plan, collaborating with nursing in the multidisciplinary team as appropriate.
- Educate and instruct clients, family members, or other representatives in rehabilitative care and activities to promote health, safety, and independence.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care using a state-of-the-art touchpad tablet.
Qualifications for a PT - Physical Therapist include:
- Current Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license.
- Minimum of one year recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association or AMA-accredited program, evidenced by transcript or diploma.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
