Job description

Immediate opening for an Automation Engineer. Successful candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background specializing in process control / automation design and development.

Minimum requirements for this position include:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering, PE, Computer Science, or related field.
2. 5 or more years of manufacturing experience.

The ideal candidate must have experience in engineering development, team support, technical management, project coordination, and full cycle project management, as well as strong troubleshooting skills. Specifically:

• A comprehensive technical background with hands-on experience troubleshooting and configuring electronic control systems specific to Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, Variable Frequency Drives, and related communication interfaces in an industrial (food processing preferred) environment.
• Experience troubleshooting automated machine systems, components, and electrical devices using test equipment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards / codes.
