Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, TX is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide evaluations, modalities and treatments under supervision, caring for patients from neonate to geriatric. A sign-on bonus is available and a strong team environment supports professional growth.

You will collaborate with the care team, develop plans of care, discharge planning, and educate patients and families while maintaining high standards of patient care in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas with a SCD or DPT and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care services for all ages from neonate to geriatric.
• Performs patient assessment and establishes plan of care.
• Delivers care per physician orders and established plan of care.
• Assesses educational needs of patient and family and provides education.
• Plans for discharge and communicates with care team for optimized care.
• Assesses treatment effectiveness and adjusts plan to meet goals.
