Job summary

The Hale Hand Center in Melbourne, FL, is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team, with the option to float to Rockledge. We also welcome candidates for a full-time PT to float between Melbourne and Rockledge.

You will work with experienced clinicians, including CHTs, in a collaborative setting focused on hand and upper-extremity rehab. Qualifications include an active Florida license, CPR certification, and a degree from an accredited APTA program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college with an APTA curriculum.
• Current state of Florida license.
• CPR certification.
• Outgoing and energetic personality.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic.
• Experience preferred but new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to assess physical condition and functional limitations.
• Identify movement dysfunction and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises to restore strength and mobility.
• Provide manual therapy and other evidence-based treatments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies.
