Job summary

The Hale Hand Center, a well-established outpatient orthopedic clinic serving Melbourne and Rockledge, seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team.

You will float between Melbourne and Rockledge, evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient setting, develop individualized treatment plans, and guide patients through therapeutic exercises to restore strength and function. This part-time role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Active Florida Physical Therapist license in good standing.
  • Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on goals and findings.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises to restore strength, mobility and function.
  • Provide manual therapy, modalities and evidence-based interventions.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Job Description
  • Float between our Melbourne and Rockledge clinic locations
  • Evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting while helping them regain strength, mobility, function, and confidence.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises to restore strength, mobility, and function
  • Provide manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and other evidence-based interventions
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
  • Collaborate with physicians and fellow rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications
  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Active Florida Physical Therapist license in good standing
  • Current CPR certification
