Job summary

Select Physical Therapy in Ormond Beach, FL is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist who specializes in hand therapy to treat upper extremity disorders, including tendinopathies and post-operative cases. You will work closely with our regional hand therapy coordinator to ensure you have what you need for growth and success.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an AOTA accredited school of Occupational Therapy and state OT License required.
• Experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedics is required.
• 1+ year hand therapy experience preferred; recent graduates with level II hand fieldwork accepted.
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan of care, treat, re-evaluate, discharge and communicate on high quality hand therapy services.
• Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants, contribute to case management and patient care.
• Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients; expand client relations.
• Stay current with Occupational Therapy research and apply Evidence Based Practice.
