Job summary

The Hale Hand Center in Melbourne, FL seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our established hand and upper extremity rehabilitation team. You’ll evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, fabricate splints, and support functional recovery in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state of Florida OT license.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Fabricate and fit custom splints based on patient diagnoses.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve upper extremity function and independence in daily activities.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
