Qualifications

• Licensed physical therapist with competency as a general practitioner in physical therapy
• Maryland/DC/VA licensure required as deemed necessary for your specific location(s)
• American Heart Association’s BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Demonstrated use of varied evaluation and treatment approaches and strong customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Provide PT evaluation including review of historical information, assessments, and goals with patient/family.
• Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and patient presentation; consult with other professionals as needed.
• Complete discharge planning and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Manage scheduling and maintain productivity; ensure frictionless access to care.
• Pursue continuing education and serve as clinical instructor or mentor as needed
