Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join the UP Health System - Marquette team for a full-time daylight schedule. New graduates are welcome to apply and participate in a meaningful mission to improve community health.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and educate families and staff on follow-through programs while ensuring safety and compliance across all care areas.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient's condition and develop a treatment plan.
• Instruct nursing staff and patients' families on follow-through programs.
• Communicate patient progress to supervisor and other team members; assist with scheduling and post charges.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory and accrediting requirements.
• Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Adhere to Lifepoint Health codes and applicable state/federal laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
