Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with Ohio laws and regulations governing physical therapy practice.
• Collaborate with team members, staff physical therapists, rehab assistants, athletic trainers, and other participants in patient care activities.
• Work under the supervision of the Rehab Manager and the education manager, following the program’s clinical, educational, and research goals.

Job Overview

The Physical Therapist Geriatric Resident is licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Ohio and will work within a team-oriented sports medicine rehabilitation program. The position is part of the OSU Ambulatory Rehab program structure and provides outpatient services to patients with orthopedic and sports-related injuries. The resident works under the general supervision of the Rehab Manager and direct supervision of the education manager.
