Job summary

The Ohio State University seeks a Physical Therapist Geriatric Resident to join the Ambulatory Services and Outpatient Rehabilitation at OCNA. This role requires state licensure and provides outpatient care for orthopedic and sports-related injuries within a team-based setting.

The geriatric residency offers clinical, educational, and research opportunities to develop leaders in geriatric physical therapy and aims to prepare practitioners for autonomous, evidence-based care through mentorship

Qualifications

• Current licensure with the State of Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Board or the Ohio Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.
• Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with Ohio laws and regulations governing physical therapy practice.
• Collaborate with team members, staff physical therapists, rehab assistants, athletic trainers, and other participants in patient care activities.
• Work under the supervision of the Rehab Manager and the education manager, following the program’s clinical, educational, and research goals.
