Job summary

Mercy seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join our Clayton, MO team. You will perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients, supervise rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants, and ensure care aligns with Mercy standards.

Candidates should hold a PT degree (DPT or MS) and a current license in the state, with BLS certification and 6–12 months of preferred experience. Mercy offers strong benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
BLS certification required and current before treating patients independently.
Six months to one year experience preferred in rehabilitation.
Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
Provide direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts and Mercy standards.
