Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess adults and geriatric patients and design customized treatment plans under supervision. The role includes supervising rehab staff and coordinating with therapy leadership to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications include a Physical Therapy degree (DPT/BS/MS), current licensure in the state, and BLS certification. Tuition reimbursement is offered up to $2,000 per year for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification required and current before independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
