Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients. You will supervise therapy staff and assistants while ensuring care aligns with Mercy Service Standards and departmental policies.

Qualifications include a Physical Therapy degree (DPT/MS/Bachelor’s with license) and current licensure in practice state, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification current before patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients; indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants per State Practice Acts.
• Contribute to department policies and procedures and adhere to Mercy Service Standards.
