Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide objective assessments and comprehensive, individualized treatment for adult and geriatric patients. The role includes direct supervision of patients and supervision of rehabilitation staff, aligned with Mercy standards.

Qualifications include current PT licensure in state of practice and BLS certification; 6–12 months of rehab experience is preferred, with experience in geriatric care beneficial. Tuition reimbursement is available.

Qualifications

• Must hold current/temporary PT license in state of practice.
• BLS certified.
• Six months to one year of rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Prefer experience with adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients; indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Perform duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
