Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and create individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients and rehabilitation staff, ensuring care aligns with Mercy standards and state practice acts.

Qualifications include a BS/MS/DPt in PT, current PT licensure, and BLS. Six months to one year of rehab experience is preferred. Tuition reimbursement is offered for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, MS in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license as Physical Therapist in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Six months to one year rehabilitation PT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts and Mercy policies.
