Job summary

Mercy Health Center is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess and treat adult and geriatric patients under supervision. The role involves direct supervision of rehabilitation technicians and indirect supervision of PT assistants, in alignment with Oklahoma practice act and Mercy standards.

Requirements include an Oklahoma physical therapy license (or licensure eligible) and current BLS certification. Prior six months to one year of rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma license or registry eligible in Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification is required to start care.
• Experience level: six months to one year preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians and indirect supervision of PT assistants.
• Adhere to Mercy Service Standards and departmental policies in patient care.

Under the general supervision of the Rehab Therapy supervisor at the Rehab Center at Mercy Health Center, and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with Oklahama Practice Act. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details:

• Education: Current Oklahoma license of Physical Therapy or registry eligible. Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy Licensure: Current Oklahoma license of Physical Therapy Experience: Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently. Other:
