Job summary

Mercy Health Center is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adults and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients and rehabilitation technicians, with oversight of PT assistants in line with the Oklahoma Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma license to practice Physical Therapy or registry eligible.
• Six months to one year of rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Certification in BLS is required and must be current.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.

Under the general supervision of the Rehab Therapy supervisor at the Rehab Center at Mercy Health Center, and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with Oklahama Practice Act. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Education: Current Oklahoma license of Physical Therapy or registry eligible.
