Under the supervision of Therapy Leadership, the role involves performing objective assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities include direct supervision of patients, indirect oversight of rehabilitation technicians, and general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. The position emphasizes providing high-quality care aligned with organizational mission and values.

Qualifications

• Educational requirement: Bachelor, Master of Science, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current or temporary licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification; other certifications must be current before independent patient care.
• Preferred experience: 6 months to 1 year, especially with adult and geriatric patients.
• Physical ability to push, pull, or lift 50 lbs, and perform prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
