Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, occasional weekends and holidays. East is the primary location, with float to North, South, and East Hospitals. 40 hours/week, 80 hours bi-weekly, benefits included.

The Float Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and provides therapy for patients across multiple locations. Assists the PT & Rehab team with patient care coverage during leaves, illness, or high census. Participates in teaching and clinical education, and interdisciplinary planning. Maintains a safe environment focused on team effectiveness, positive patient outcomes, and safety. The primary work location is Community Hospital East.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program
• Valid Indiana Physical Therapy license or temporary permit
• Minimum of three years of experience preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, evaluation, therapy techniques, current materials, and trends
• Effective communication skills with staff, patients, families, and physicians
• Ability to lift/transfer patients and supplies without restriction
