Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy in Tennessee is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. You will supervise support staff and contribute to program development while adhering to state regulations and APTA ethics.

The role emphasizes autonomous practice, professional growth, and community outreach opportunities within a growing regional network.

Qualifications

Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program.
New or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Current TN State Physical Therapist licensure is required.
CPR certification is required.
Ability to work efficiently in an autonomous environment.
Proficiency with basic PC software including EMR systems, databases, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations assessing ROM, strength, gait, balance, and ADLs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports per facility procedures.
Interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
Supervise PTAs, technicians, and students in patient care.
Ensure supervised personnel follow the PT evaluations and treatment plans.
Contribute to program development and educational activities.
Assist in outreach community events as directed by the Clinic Director.
Adhere to state practice acts and APTA code of ethics.
