Job summary

The Orchards at Canterbury on the Lake in Waterford Township, Michigan is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team and provide high‑quality care to residents in a supportive environment.

Pay starts at $40/hour for full‑time and $50/hour for PRN, with increases based on experience. A Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and Michigan PT licensure are required; experience in LTC/SNF is preferred, with a team‑oriented approach and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or MSPT) required.
• Michigan state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) required.
• Preferably LTC/SNF experience; 0+ years acceptable.
• Familiarity with Net Health billing system.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement physical therapy programs for residents.
• Develop and modify treatment plans based on resident needs and progress.
• Conduct PT treatments including exercises, stretches, and modalities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely resident progress records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team.
