AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, establish care plans, and oversee PT assistants. The role supports the Healing Ministry and offers growth within a team-focused environment.

Location at Innovation Tower in Orlando, with a four 10-hour shift schedule and generous sign-on/relocation bonuses for eligible applicants. Doctorate preferred; CPR/BLS and PT licensure required.

• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
• Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.
• Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
• Assess patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
• Oversees the care provided by PT assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, per regulations and practice standards.
• Maintains productivity standards and adjusts work hours to meet patient needs.
• Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.

Job Description:

• Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Applicants
• Up to $3000 Relocation Bonus for Eligible Applicants
• Location: Innovation Tower 265 East Rollins St. Orlando FL 32804
• Schedule: Four 10 hours shift Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday off Wednesday
• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
• Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.
• Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
• Assess patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
• Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs as approved and observed by the manager or director.
• Practices principles of professional development by maintaining clinical competencies, using best and/or evidence-based practices, and serving as a clinical instructor.
• Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards.
• Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
• Maintains productivity standards as defined by the department, through effective time management and clinical efficiency and adjusts work hours to meet the needs of the patients as required.
• Monitors patient response and progress to treatment, modifying the treatment plan as appropriate.
• Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.
• Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
• Entry level competency of physical therapy practice, theory, principles, and applications as defined in competency/department policies [Required]
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]

• Doctorate [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• Experience in Treating Neurological Patients

• Education requirements for this position are determined by the licensing or certification standards set forth by the relevant certifying body. Applicants must possess the level of education mandated for eligibility to obtain and maintain the required license or certification.

$66,268.80 - $123,281.60
