The role offers local pay of $60.00/hour under a W2 arrangement, with day shifts from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The position focuses on evaluating mobility, developing personalized treatment plans, and improving patient function in a correctional healthcare setting.

Qualifikationen

• Current, valid, and unrestricted VA license/certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Copy of Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

• Evaluate patients to assess mobility, strength, balance, and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitation techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
• Assist patients in restoring function following injury, surgery, or illness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote patient independence and improve overall quality of life through rehabilitation services.
