Qualifications

• Current, valid, unrestricted VA Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• Minimum 1+ year within the last 3 years as a Physical Therapist.
• PSV verification from licensing board, if required.
• Current BLS and applicable compliance documents.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to assess mobility, strength, balance, and function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy as prescribed.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans based on outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.

Shift Details

• Day Shift - 8.00am - 4.30pm
• Monday - Friday

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to assess mobility, strength, balance, and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitation techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
• Assist patients in restoring function following injury, surgery, or illness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote patient independence and improve overall quality of life through rehabilitation services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedVAlicense/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as aPhysical Therapist
• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,).
