Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for Ione, CA. The role offers a $65 pay rate, W2, a 13-week contract, and a Tue-Fri 7:30am-3:30pm shift.

You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, monitor progress, and educate patients. Requires CA license and at least 1 year of PT experience; PSV verification and current certifications (e.g., BLS) are needed.

Qualifications

• Current CA physical therapy license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of licensed physical therapist experience.
• Primary Source Verification (PSV) from licensing board if required.
• Copy of required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunizations, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for mobility, strength, balance, and function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy.
• Monitor progress and modify plans based on outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and home programs.
• Assist patients in restoring function after injury, surgery, or illness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and safety standards.
• Promote independence and improve quality of life through rehab services.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients to assess mobility, strength, balance, and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitation techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
• Assist patients in restoring function following injury, surgery, or illness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote patient independence and improve overall quality of life through rehabilitation services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedCA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1 yearof recent experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
