Job summary

The Palms of Sebring is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat residents, helping them improve mobility, strength, and functional independence. This Full-Time and Per Diem role offers consistent weekly hours and collaborative care within an interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida PT license and bring strong clinical judgment and communication skills. Prior long-term care experience is welcome but not required; the position emphasizes patient-focused care

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Physical Therapist license.
• Strong clinical judgment; ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, balance, strength, and functional performance.
• Assist residents in achieving safe and optimal movement for daily activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapy disciplines regarding treatment progress.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapeutic exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies.

The Palms of Sebring – Sebring, FL

The Palms of Sebring is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat residents, helping them improve mobility, strength, and functional independence. This position is available Full-Time and Per Diem, with consistent hours per week. The Physical Therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that enhance residents’ quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, balance, strength, and functional performance.
• Assist residents in achieving safe and optimal movement for daily activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapy disciplines regarding treatment progress.
