Job summary

MACT Health Board, Inc. seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist for a full-time clinical role in California. The PT will evaluate and treat patients, develop individualized plans, and educate patients and families on home programs and prevention.

The ideal candidate holds a DPT, California license, and has experience with EHR systems (NextGen preferred). A commitment to quality care and collaboration with the healthcare team is essential.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current California Physical Therapist license.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a PT preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with automated data systems and EHR; NextGen preferred.
• BLS/ALS certificate; occupational health screening; I-9 verification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with injuries, disabilities or medical conditions that affect movement and physical function.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals and diagnoses.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy and evidence-based interventions.
• Educate patients and family members on treatment plans, home programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and standards; participate in quality improvement.
