Job summary

MACT Health Board, Inc. in California is recruiting a full-time Physical Therapist to provide PT services in a clinical setting. You will evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with movement-related conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current California Physical Therapist license.
• A minimum of 6 months experience as a PT preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with automated data systems and EHR, NextGen preferred.
• Supports an ethical standard, free of conflicts of interest.
• Current BLS/ALS certificate.
• Must pass Occupational Health Screening.
• Must possess a valid form of identification per I-9/E-Verify.
• Clean DMV driving record and MACT auto insurance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with injuries, disabilities or medical conditions that affect movement and physical function.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and diagnoses.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other evidence-based interventions.
• Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care meetings.
• Participate in provider meetings and attend organizational events.
• Other duties as assigned
