Job summary

People Well Staffing seeks a licensed Physical Therapist in Stockton, CA to evaluate patients and devise individualized care plans focused on functional goals. You will deliver evidence-based rehabilitation, including therapeutic exercises, balance, gait, and mobility training, while tracking progress and adapting plans as needed.

The role requires current California PT licensure or eligibility, and CPR/BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active CA Physical Therapist license in good standing, or eligibility for licensure.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in the applicable setting preferred; qualified clinicians at varying experience levels are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care based on functional goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic exercise, mobility, balance, gait, and functional training.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on safety and home programs.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation professionals, and the interdisciplinary team.
