Job summary

People Well Staffing in Merced, CA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care based on functional goals.

You will provide evidence-based therapeutic exercise, mobility, balance, gait, and functional training, monitor progress, and collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation professionals, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. CA license required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active CA Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in the applicable setting preferred; qualified clinicians at varying experience levels are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care based on functional goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic exercise, mobility, balance, gait, and functional training.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on safety and home programs.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation professionals, and the interdisciplinary team.
