Ready to join in? We are looking for a full-time Clinic Manager/Physical Therapist to oversee the day-to-day operations of the outpatient clinic located in Oak Brook, IL. You will collaborate with a talented team while making a difference in patients' lives. Candidates with prior clinic management experience are preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  1. Direct, supervise, and coordinate activities of the clinic to ensure consistency across PT sites.
  2. Assist in the selection, employment, professional development, and management of clinic employees.
  3. Review and interpret operational problems and policies; resolve issues and recommend changes.
  4. Address problems related to utilization of facilities, equipment, supplies, and staff.
  5. Evaluate patients and gather appropriate information for accurate clinical diagnoses and treatment plans.
  6. Establish appropriate, functional, and objective goals based on clinical examinations.
  7. Devise detailed treatment and care plans for patients.
  8. Provide exceptional patient care and service.
  9. Maintain friendly, cordial relations with clients and employees; foster a positive work environment through respectful communication.
  10. Develop and implement short- and long-term work plans and objectives for the facility.
  11. Meet or exceed clinic goals related to operational performance metrics.
  12. Cultivate relationships with patients and the community.
  13. Maintain communication with referring physicians and other referral sources to ensure consistent care.
  14. Maintain patient charts, clinical logs, and checklists for compliance.
  15. Market the facility and services to increase patient volumes and community awareness.
  16. Stay compliant with all applicable state and federal laws, including HIPAA, ADA, OSHA, and FLSA.
  17. Perform duties of co-workers and subordinates as workload demands.
  18. Perform additional duties as required.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
  • Current State of Illinois Physical Therapy license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • At least one year of outpatient orthopedic management experience preferred.
  • At least three years of outpatient orthopedic experience required.
