Join to apply for the Physical Therapist Assistant role at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville.

This position involves working closely with the physical therapist, other departmental staff, physicians, patients, and families. The assistant will help carry out the patient’s care plan, established by the PT, and keep the therapist updated on the patient’s status.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:

• Graduated with an Associate Degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy Assistant approved by the Council of Medical Education or the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Requires licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant with current licensure from the Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy.
• Inpatient and outpatient experience preferred.
• One year experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Effective communication skills highly desirable.
