Role Responsibilities
  • Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting
  • Implement patients' Care Plans under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, helping patients participate in tasks to restore and enhance their performance
  • Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and documentation
  • Document patient care according to regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Instruct family or nursing staff on follow-up programs
  • Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness
  • Adhere to company policies, professional standards, and legal requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA program with an Associate Degree
  • Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent
  • CPR certification (if required)
